Rumi Yokota, NP, MBA is a clinician and healthcare investor with over a decade of experience spanning pediatric cardiology, primary care, business development, and hospital operations. She obtained her MBA from Johns Hopkins in Healthcare Management, Technology, and Innovation and attended the Stanford Biodesign program. She has venture capital experience in digital health and medical devices.
Kara D. Meister, MD, FAAP, FACS is a pediatric otolaryngologist and head & neck surgeon. She completed the Stanford Biodesign Faculty Fellowship, equipping her with a strong foundation in identifying unmet clinical needs and building healthcare solutions that work in practice. As Co-Clinical Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology, Dr. Meister focuses on improving care delivery through digital transformation and operational efficiency. She brings extensive experience in clinical and translational research including industry-sponsored trials and grant-funded studies. Dr. Meister also has a strong background in developing effective clinical training and simplifying complex biomedical concepts for a wide range of audiences.
Asha Nair, MD is a double board-certified pediatric cardiologist with over 17 years of healthcare experience including Harvard and Stanford. Her expertise lies in clinical research, multidisciplinary collaboration, global health, health equity, and outcomes-driven innovation. She has experience in healthcare AI and is passionate about harnessing technology to revolutionize healthcare.
Meghna Patel, MD is a triple-board certified physician in pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, and critical care medicine with over 15 years of clinical and grant-funded research experience. She specializes in hospital flow management, clinical operations, and improvement science. Meghna is dedicated to advancing healthcare by improving efficiency and patient-centered care.
